This is due to driver error regardless. I do not recommend the full face feramics for drag, People do it anyway and then stick them from slipping them excessively out of the hole. This builds tremendous heat and the metalized feramic material can stick. I can count on one hand the few that have done this and not use all my fingers. The majority of the ones that have done this have also been VERY low miles, under 700 and not properly broken in. If it is not broken in properly yet it will not hold the rated TQ and if slipped while the clutch is fully engaged will build heat even faster. I have not had ANY (read 0) failures other than that in any of the clutch kits with the hundreds sold just on this forum in the last 5-6 years. The return rate is less than 1% and those have been handled under warranty, pretty good if you ask me. The only kits that use the feramic are the OFE and FE stage 3-5. These are meant for high power street cars and not drag racers. Others mention that feramic melts at a "fairly low temperature" This is incorrect, It takes 1600* to melt it. Put Organic through that and it is ruined. Stage 1, Stage 1 SS use Organic Stage 2 and Stage 2 SS use Kevlar (killer stuff) Both of these kits are amazing, Drive perfectly smooth ont eh street and will hold plenty of power for just about anyones needs.
