Message	like bernie said, it can happen. but i've lived right on the water all my life and we never have a problem with the salt. however on vacations to ocean front places, the salt has caused all kinds of problems for the cars. i wouldn't worry so much about what states it's from, but just weather when you go to pick it up, it's right at the ocean. my town is basically a fishing town and we have no problems with rust on anything. i'm close enough to the river to hear the boats in the summer, and there is no problem.
