| You have the right to settle with them without accepting a salvage title. When I did my 240Z with Loid's, Allstate wanted to total it out based on the unavailability of parts (both OEM and shitty tabco replacement panels). I was able to avoid the salvage title because I released them from liability for the repair, and was able to produce an estimate that was less than their line in the sand (which was total value less salvage value, or about $13k). My guess is that your trouble will be finding adequate examples for comparison. I'd start with the classifieds in this forum ;)
