by doing a trial by declaration. his is where you write in what happened and why you feel it was an unjust ticket and a judge will review it and hear the side of the officer. Having photographic evidence or at least a diagram is a plus. Also if you can find any error on the ticket, the ticket becomes void. i.e. License plate, name spelling, violation code, address spelling etc. If there is something like this then a trial by declaration pointing out your case and the error is likely the best way to go. This is how I was able to get out of the ticket. -Jason
