| think the boxes you bought will hold that sub. the W7 needs quite a bit of room. 1 JL 10w3v3 i think will meet your needs, our cars are tiny! 500watts is a lot for our cars, but if you want to go deaf get 2 JL 10w3v3's for a total of 1000 watts. ive heard 2 RF T2's (2000 watts!) in a Chevy Suburban and i thought my heart was going to explode out of my chest! Ohms - is defined as a resistance between two points. think of it like this. a garden hose turned on flowing normal = 8ohms. press ur finger on the end of it half way and the stream becomes stronger but not as much flows through = 4ohm. press it even harder and it becomes 2ohms. it really doesnt matter here, having the option to have a 2 or 4 ohm sub, just helps when trying to wire everything to the amp. RF T1000-1bdCP - 700 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (1,000 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms). what this means is if you had 1 single voice coil sub at 4 ohm you can hook it up and would get 700 watts at 4 ohms. but say you have 2 single voice coil subs at 4 ohms, then you can run them in parallel and get 1000 watts at 2 ohms which would split the watts, 500 to each sub at 2 ohms [ http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2SVC_4-ohm_mono.jpg ]
