Message	placed them in (its a very tight fit)....then tap them down with a mallet and then bolt down the exhaust valve covers with out RTV, until the BDE plugs RTV cured. Then i removed the exhaust valve covers and like i had hoped, the BDE plugs were flush. Last i RTVd the covers and installed them normally. Hope this helps!
