| Go ahead and give me grief for buying a "emance" cable on ebay to access data from my ecu. His ad says " a real shop with a real phone number". sure enough, there's a phone number. (he doesnt answer it or return phone calls....) He responded to my e-mail inquires about the item and it was what i was looking for. Except it didnt work. I told emance I was open to the possibility it was my ECU (turns out it wasnt) but the fact that I had to buy and adapter cable AND the shop that had my car at the time gave up on the emance cable was enough for me. ( several calls to emance went unanswered over a week period - no answer to messages either) I told emance I would pay to ship back to him, and refund him his expenses ( ebay etc). He agreed and I shipped, with delivery confirmation. Package was delivered, I waited a couple weeks to inquire. Answer from -emance..." what did the package look like?" Here we are a month after it was delivered to him , with several requests via e-mail. His statement " if I can find it I will; refund your money". At this point I am apparently out about $65.00. Make you own decision. I then ordered a Blazt cable through Coz. There were problem getting communication with this cable too, possibly due to windows 7.... but Coz and Jason at Blazt were great about responding to e-mails and after a couple of weeks (!) we got it to work. I accept that a 10 year old may have got it to work in 5 minutes, but there seemed to be issues no one could figure out at first. With my Blazt data I ordered new injectors from Coz and they arrived in two days. Car is fixed. Thanks Blazt and Coz - no thanks emance.
