Message	it costs 40 cents or $8 or whatever. It's about the fact that a person, who should make a reasonable wage, and a business, that has overhead, have to survive. In any business these days, $10 barely cover the time it takes to think about your order. Often it costs as much to ship a screw as it does to ship a $500 part. Even at the rates discussed here, they are losing money on shipping, but they do it anyway.
