| Yes, these are common problems I've seen before. Most likely bad solder connections but you could check something else too. Check all the screws on the back of the cluster which hold the meters in place. If they seem a little loose, take a couple out and look at them. I'm kicking myself right now because I've searched and searched and can't find some pictures I took of these screws to show you an example of how they look when they need cleaning. If you see an area about 1/4 long toward the top of the threads that look dark or corroded, use a steel wire brush (or a grinder with a wire wheel like I do) to shine them up. They can cause bad connections to the gauges. After checking the screws and you still have the problem then it's most likely bad connections on the gauge circuit boards. Everyone will tell you to find a used cluster. IMO, good luck finding the year that you need, a good one, one that will last and one for a twin turbo that won't cost you to much.
