1) remove t-tops 2) remove the plastic corners that the t-tops lock into on either side of the A-pillar top (Philips screws) 3) remove the center overhead light (pop the cover, can't remember offhand if there are any screws, but it was a fairly simple process) 4) remove the t-top rubber trim starting from the corners where you removed the plastic end caps. Pay attention to how it fits around the edge of the sheet metal, as you will have to pop it back on later. Pull it off around the t-top opening past the centre t-bar, but don't remove it completely. 5) the headliner can now be pulled down slightly, enough to get a 3/8 ratchet with a 10mm deep well socket to remove the nuts holding the top bar down. I pulled the headliner down a fair ways, enough to see what I was doing. The nuts are up inside the sheet metal cutouts. You'll find them, 4 per side. 6) Pop the top bar off when you have removed the nuts. Clean off area. Install new bar. Run a thin bead of black silicone around the bottom of the new bar, if you prefer to keep water out. Mine had a little bit present, so I went ahead and did it. 7) Re-install the nuts (tricky) by balancing them on the top of the socket and guiding the socket into the hole to mate up with the threaded post from the bar. You'll get the hang of it, it's not that hard. They didn't cross thread, in fact, they started fairly easily. Tighten. 8) Push headliner back into place, re-install rubber strips, dome light and end caps.
