at the beginning of the summer i parked the car due to the over whelming amount of stuff that hit me all at once, most of it from the car. i rode my motorcycle for the summer, and finally got the car out this week to take back to school. the most annoying of the issues that had hit me all at once was a window regulator failure (so it seemed), one that had been replaced not even a year before. today i noticed the safety lock button above the window switches was in. a bit more funny stuff: the battery went dead while the car was sitting, naturally, and it wasn't the first time. i charged it enough to start it, and drove it for a bit. the next morning, on my way to get the tires needed to get the pink sticker off my wind shield (i hadn't noticed they were so worn, and thought i would pass inspection a few months ago. another reason i parked it), i got pulled over. i got a ticket for the expired rejection sticker. i had turned the car off to not piss off the cop with the noise. then the battery was dead. i had the tire place drive me a battery out. $35 road charge.
