| and its a pain in the ass to take a picture of every single part , upload off my camera, host it and post it. Its also silly when a picture is requested of an item that it's cosmetic condition is of no importances, or a picture request of a brand new part. You should be able to take the word of a long time member with good classifieds feed back of a parts condition. Once you've done a couple cars it starts to get old. It much easier to only send pictures via email. It cuts out the uploading and hosting step. I also like to send pictures via phone text. That way I only have to take pictures of parts of interest, and not waste time photoing parts that might not ever sell. Just snap and send pic. Because of time, I pretty much stick to local sells via craigslist and only doing cash on pick up deals while i'm at work. I may not catch top dollar compared to TT.net, but it cuts packing, shipping and cuts less time from my life. I only host and post pics on TT.net when my inventory starts flooding and I have some more valuable parts that are worth the time and need a larger market to sell. So I can see why some people dont post pictures, My reason is i'm just pressed for time. As for not pricing parts some people may not know the value of parts and dont want to undercut them selves or catch a guy thats willing to pay high because they just need the part ASAP. I my self try to keep up with parts values by comparing to other current post. Also Ebay is a good tool to look at similar items' current bids or recent closed bids if you're not sure of a parts value. What bothers me in the classifieds are repeat post from vendors weekly or even daily. If theres no price drop or new product I couldn't care less to click on them, some are the same post over and over again which can be slightly annoying to eye through.
