It all started with the infamous power steering hose leak and after thinking things through, I decided to go the route of completely deleting the hicas. After getting a used NA PS pump and all associated components locally, NA/94+TT (Powercraft) PS hose at Oreilly's (excellent fit btw), and Powertrix Hicas bar, I worked with my friend in deleting ALL plumbing from the rear to the reservoir. Working a few hours each day and 4 days later, we're done. Also, for search purposes, to get rid of the Hicas light, the Hicas control module is located bottom right of the ECU (visible) and has 2 connectors, one large, and one small. Disconnect the small (right) one. I haven't weighed all the old components but I'd say it feels like ~50-60lbs lost with all the old stuff removed.
