He's documented his work, check his lengthy post history. I've gone tracking with him and his high-compression convertible, solid machine that's withstood tons of abuse. Black convertible now running strong over 5 years, White convertible over a year with different turbo setup.
However, it is not cheap or easy to do over a regular twin turbo motor swap.
In fact, more expensive and you have to be obsessive and quite knowledgeable about tuning, AFR's and definitely not for a first-time tt swapper. Those who blew up their engines didn't take the time to tune them for high-compression boost. Nistune is a great tool in this regard.
