| We lease office equipment though so I'm not sure how relevant this info will be but I'll put my piece in. When we transfer a lease to a new company, we have language in the agreement that still holds the previous lessee accountable if unable to pay the agreement. That being said, if we have any personal guarantors on the account they will be kept on record as well. It is very rare that we do not keep the previous lessee on the books. I don't know a whole lot about automobile leases though so all I cand lend is what I've had experience with.
