| I ran a 12.510 quarter mile last night at Sacramento Raceway. My previous best was 13.7 The changes I made since my previous best: -26x10.5x16 ET streets (previously BFG g-force sport) -WOT box launch control -Nismo 740's, 300degree fuel rail and specialty z eeprom I also swapped out my powertrix coilovers the morning of with a set of NA OEM springs coupled with KYB GR2 shocks. Yay, they fit!
My launch control allows full throttle shifting but I decided to not use it this time since I had enough things to get used to. I put 6 gallons of 100 octane gas in my empty tank on the way there and slowly raised boost all night while logging my air fuel ratio to be safe. Around 17psi I found that first through third gear were ok but in fourth I hit as high as 12.4 Here's a in car video of my run. My reaction time is way off and you will see why. However, I still managed to overtake the mustang that easily had three car lengths on me. |
