| style. but is this little thread off shoot, Piotr is asking me about going from the "D80" to the "D300s" since that's what i did. there is more to jumping to the D700 than just buying it. FF Glass and the fact it's no longer in production play a big part too. most of us know that and are trying to discuss the bodies that are BEST for our needs. if you want to praise the D700, great! but i even think ChrisZTT is looking to take nice pics with a nice mid level DSLR. since that is what he was asking.. not looking to burn 2500-3k for a simi-pro-sumer kit that will mostly not used any where near it's designed paces. kind of like a guy asking for nice all around turbos(400 hp) and you come on recommending a 1000 hp kit just cuz "it's the best"
