this guy was born with spina bifida and last year had a surgery to remove and replace parts of his digestive system because the earlier implants weren't made to be used after the age of 13. He wasn't expected to live past 13, he's 35 now. So a year later after many complications and a few other surgeries, he's finally getting his strength back to get in and out of his truck again. So basically I consider myself lucky to have him as a friend. All this mushy talk has made my vagina hurt. :)
