| 50/1.8 is great and dirt cheap (I have the Nikon 50/1.8 and 35/1.8 the 28-75/2.8 is the overall beast for portraits and just about everything else. Getting a nice wide angle will give a great range for both landscapes and interior shots. Macro's can double as portrait and macro, however, I find my Tamron 90/2.8 (which is rated really good) to be a slow lens for being 2.8. But POSED portraits are great with them.
