and I hear that from Z owners a lot, but I personally don't know anyone who can generally identify cars by model year that would mistake a Z32 for a modern car; it's a wedge, and it's too flat to have been made in the SUV-conscious 2000s. I got a lot of "cool car, what is it" and "what year is it" when I drove my Z, but never "is that a 2008?" Regardless of whether it's a 1997, a 1977 or a 2007 though, he'll get "nice Ferrari, how much was it" or "what do you do for a living!?" and be immediately assumed to be wealthy and/or important by people in general. Looking dated won't diminish it's effect as a status symbol.
