| My cars have broke down many times. It really sucked each time it happened. With the Z: 3 blocks from home, after firing up the car for the first time in 5 years. Went for a quick ride at night. Forgot to adjust the clutch pedal, the clutch would not fully release. It got overheated and would not go. Forgot cell phone, also had no inspection sticker, no front plate, forgot the wallet. Went to someone's house to call wife. Cop came by and chatted but didn't ask for papers. Lucky. Wife came with the SUV and cable. Dragged the car home. Sitting at a redlight off an exit from Rt 80 on the way to work. Fuel pressure went to 0. Wires for the duel pumps were fried. Forgot to bring my cell phone, again. Had to leave the car at the off-ramp and walk in the rain to a house to borrow their phone to call the flatbed. Cop never showed up, flatbed came after 2 hours.
With the DD (camry):
Went to see local tt.netters race in Englishtown on Weds night. Went with a friend in the DD (when I was z-less for awhile). After the race it was time to leave, the fuel pump failed. Car died in the parking lot. Local Zer packed up truck, trailer and left. Waited about 2 hours for the tow truck to show up. That's the last time I went to drag strip. Yeah drag racing sucks.
