I bought a 90 NA about 3.5 years ago and loved it. I did not want a TT at the time because of initial cost, insurance and possible maintenance/mechanical issues (or so I thought). I always loved the Z32 but was not knowledgable(sp) enough on the car to feel comfortable getting a TT. I just sold the NA in Feb. I got a TT in May. NA's are very reliable and very fun, but I must admit with the TT my fun has grown exponentially! The only reason I got a TT was because of the knowledge and confidence I gained on this site over the past 9ish months, the car is not that intimidating mechanically to me anymore. I had all maintenance on my NA done by dealers, even oil changes. I plan on doing all work on my TT myself, its not as scarey when you can educate yourself with some help from experienced members. If you can afford a TT I would highly recommend getting one that is close to stock and lower miles the better, of course. If not, NA's are still an incredible sports cars, don't let any TT owners tell you different. For me, getting an NA first was like taking things one step at a time to REALLY high performance. If you can be well informed, you may be able to skip step one (NA) and go directly to step two (TT). I did not check your profile so I don't know if you are new or not, but stick around this forum it is very educational (in more ways than one:)). Read through all the FAQ's, seriously! These alone will give you a great education on the cars. That's my 2 cents, I'll get off my soap box now:)
