this sounds to me like the car continues to bounce after it hits a bump, if so, then the dampers are not properly damping the suspension movement.
If it's just plain "harsh" as in when you hit a bump it feels like it drives the seat into you then I'd say the spring rate is too high for your tastes. It doesn't matter what preload you set it at or if you use the helper springs (they're solid at ride height correct?) the fact is, for the fronts it takes 7 Kg of force to move the springs every 1 mm - in normal terms, that's 393 lbs force for every one inch of travel. Stock was only 154 lbs, and now it takes 2.5 times the amount of force to give the same one inch of movement. That equals a much "harsher" ride in my book.
