They managed to kill the marketability of the Street damper by labeling it as 600HP, and the poor guys that are planning to make more than the 1000HP that the Race damper is rated at don't know what they can use for a damper. Who will be the first to make a 2000HP damper so they can rest assured it will be ok?????????
Here's the deal: The heavier the damper's inertia weight is, the better it controls harmonics at higher RPMs; the Street damper's inertia weight is less than the Race damper's. Neither have a clue what HP the engine is making.
