Message While I agree with your advice and knowledge most of the time here Bernie, I must say you and the other folks should open up a bit on this one.

People use their cars for different purposes. Some people like to be low to the ground, pushing the limits of fitment for cruising around. Take a look around nowadays, it does look good. If any of these people were to track their car, I'm sure they would have an alternate set of wheels and tires that "fit" per your definition, and have much wider tires. However, some people drive the hell out of their cars just as you see his.

This is my DD, and I take corners hard, the ride height hasn't changed.

I'll say the look has to be executed properly, else it does look "silly" as you've described, but a properly fitted/flush car does look good. This is not only an appeal to the younger crowd, within the last few months I've received compliments from the age range of 8 to high 60's, as have a couple friends with even more "silly" fitment. To each their own though I suppose. My z has 285's out back..
