I started with a 1985 300ZX Turbo I'd had since highschool, then moved up to a 1997 Honda Prelude when I thought I'd landed a job that would allow me to afford it, but that fell through and after squeaking by for a year making $375 payments on it, I sold the Prelude and picked up a Z. Payment dropped $100 or so a month, insurance was about the same, and power went through the roof. =) They are NOT dependable cars when compared with other vehicles... But with age most vehicles aren't considered to be all too dependable. It all depends on the amount of care by the previous owner, and the amount of care you give it after getting it. Some things are out of your hands, but overall I don't think its a bad car for anyone, as long as you can afford it! Hey, if I could have afforded an F355 Ferrari in college I would have gotten that... but I'm sure like most of you, a Ferrari is a LITTLE out of my reach! =) Later, KaZ
