Message	the horribly innacurate stock gauge, and going into safety boost. Get a better gauge, then pull ECU codes and see if you come up with a code 34 (detonation sensor - common cause of safety boost). Once you do those things, you'll have the proper information to proceed with a solid diagnosis/fix. Good luck!
