So, yesterday, as I was woeking on my sis-n-law's CRV, I had major problems with two screws in the rotor that serve no other purpose than to hold the rotor to the hub. (Major thanks to my91z for coming over an bailing me out with his trusty torch and impact driver). Now, I'm no genius, but wouldn't the wheel and caliper be more than sufficient to hold the rotor on? I mean, its not like these two tiny screws can be all thats holding the brakes together. Now, if they are there simply told hold everything flush with the hub, would it kill them to at least use some allen screws? I mean they used freakin phillips head screws! I can't imagine changing these things after 100k miles!(Z related part) When we did Kevin's brakes last week on his 2+2, the damn rotors fell right off the hub when the calipers came off. Nice and simple. Have I mentioned that I hate Hondas?
