if anything the producers of F&F called the cops and asked "We're putting out this movie, what are you guys doing prevevent all thsi drag racing?" then went and told papers "hey there's all this street racing, and go talk to the cops about what their doing about it!" .... and bingo... tons of free publicity for your movie 8*)
