I paid $7200 3 years ago for mine, and it had 49k on the clock, clutch was shot but that was the only IMMEDIATE problem. That's misleading, b/c I've dropped a solid 13 grand + more into it since then, replacing nearly everything I could find. I'd consider a few things, can or do you want a used NA engine, would you just do a swap (might as well), can you any of the work yourself to save labor? Etc. Let's assume you want to TT swap it and you'd need parts and labor (Z1 for example would run 8 grand-ish). If i had around 10 grand in a 94, swapped, with decent paint and interior, 130k on the chassis, and 60-70k on the used running gear; I'd probably live with that. Back into it and say a couple grand for the car as it stands???? Just a thought.
