:Hi all, :As most of you know we've been attacked and the database :has been compromised with a bunch of spam garbage. I've :fixed the code but it turned out I needed to upgrade some :core things on the server, which I have been working on for :the past week. :Unfortunately those upgrades didn't go so smoothly and I :finally ended up getting things going in a purely manual :fashion. That's why you may have periodically seen the site :either :a) be completely down :b) show the 'we're doing maintenance page' or :c) get odd errors :As of this posting, the system is running on the latest stuff :and it should be able to block the sql attacks we have been :experiencing (purely due to my lazy coding many years ago). :At this point the database itself is NOT fixed. Over the next :few days we will be manually pulling older backed up :information back into the live database. We will attempt to do :this with as little loss of data as possible. However, I haven't :jumped into the details of this yet and there may be some :possibility that data will be lost to fix the problem. :Thanks for hanging in there with us and I'm terribly sorry for :the inconvenience.
