YES, I know the members make this site what it is. I'd be dumb if I ignored that. We created the general forum to allow *more* latitude in what was deamed appropriate for the old 1 forum method from a year ago. But if you step back & look at the content over the past couple weeks, you'd wonder if you were on a car forum at all with some of the long, pointless threads we've had going on here. It's a few individuals that get everyone else going on these offtopic threads. I could simply ban them & be on my way if I wanted the problem solved *right now*. Obviously that wouldn't be the right thing to do since the members make the site. Right? Anyway, chatter will be cut down, one way or other. Simple as that. Membership can decide how they want it handled, we're all adults here & the issue has been brought to everyone's attention. It's a matter of execution now.
