Red it is. I was pretty much leaning toward it for the reasons stated, but was still debating it. I actually found a bright metallic red that I think I am going to paint it. I recently bought a Ferrari One netbook and it came painted Ferrari red, but metallic from Acer. I had Finish Master come out to get a code for paint. My painter is going to do a test spray Monday to see how it comes out. I don't think there is any pink hue when the light hits it.
