Message	but these engines will take high rpm just fine, if they are OK mechanically and tuned right. I avoid the higher rpms because the car pulls so strong without going there, but that's just me. I think that, over the long haul, if you constantly run it at high rpm it will wear out quicker than if you keep it lower, but I don't know that anyone has any scientific data to proove it.
