Just a public service announcement that it looks like this guy needs to grow up a little and stop jerking people’s chain.
Subject stated he was purchasing a few items from me for a little over $200. Items included a lockset and several other minor items, all of which I didn’t even advertise for sale and thus had to dig through parts bins/garage/storage to find, as he had requested them. I even took apart my cluster bezel to sell him just the one pod housing. After everything was bubble wrapped/boxed up and ready to go, he stated that he had some sort of problem with Paypal and that it wouldn’t let him pay the full amount, so he was going to do so in multiple, smaller transactions, which obviously I was fine with. A few days I contacted him to see what the problem was, and he then said that his NA radiator went out and so that was delaying him, but still assured me that all was well. The next week the story further changed and he said he was waiting on his tax return….and this story lasted a few more weeks at which point he ceased communication all together. That is all pretty BS by my standards. We’ve all had people say that they’re going to buy something and then don’t, which is no big deal. But when I dig through things for special requests, and bubble wrap/package everything up I get a bit irritated….just a little beware rant.
