Message	you use. If you use too much, one of the lights (or all) will stick out...maybe a corner of them. Goo Gone works great at prepping the surface for installation. pass tailight bottom right corner is notorious for leaks, i would put a lil extra. Get all the way to teh corners, otherwise when you wash the car/it rains, there will always be water trapped in the groove, making for a never ending "river" that shows itself when you tap the lights.
