Message	Good info. I recently purchased a 1000lb Harbor Freight stand myself and like you I found that the bolts recommended in the past were too long. Interestingly, my friend had the same engine stand (his was purchased a year ago) and the stand-offs on the stand to engine mounting arms were longer than on the one I picked up.
