| I remember having to do this on my other engine stand. It had really short "rods" on the engine holder arms. I used either a small amount of washers. Or also, at home depot, there are very long "nuts" , Basically used to extend studs. Its a long cylinder that is threaded. Or you can get the "spacers" that are not threaded and just use that if the bolts used are too long. I would do this if you either can't find the right bolts or are in a pinch and just need somthing to work. I am sure you can use the transmission bolts, since so many differ in length.. That coupled with Plenum bolts.. I am sure you'll get somthing to work out.. thats why a parts car is awesome!
NO, This picture is not photoshopped. It took many times to take this picture. Setting up the timer, shutter speed etc, then jumping on my bike and getting the tire to spin.
