It can be quite scary when the car wont stop accelerating.. especially when it's a fast car unlike a prius. My throttle body linkage used to get stuck on the metal tube right above the cam gears. Here I am just crusing along one day and I decide to give it some boost but when I let off the throttle I continue to go full speed ahead.. I instinctivly try to turn the car off but my damn turbo timer just starts counting down as I continue to climb towards redline in 5th gear. It was one of those HKS timers too so I knew all I had to do was hold the button for a couple seconds, but in my frantic rage I smashed the timer through its weak electrical tape cradle and back into the depths of the consol. So now im flying down the highway at ungodly speeds and my turbo timer is still counting down, to what now seems like total destruction, while hiding behind my radio somewhere I cant reach... And I just had to set it for a minute and not 30 secs that day... Try explaning that to the cops
