| I am giving her my old wheels that I had on my TT before I bought my iForged "Classic" wheels. They are a 17x8.5" Masitaly wheels. They look very similar to the Volk AV3's that Twinturbopete used to have on his badass Z. Anyways.. My girlfriend has got a Toyota Matrix AWD. I gave her my old wheels and was thinking of buying the Sumitomo HTR Z II's or the HTR+. If I remember correctly Sumitomo's were known to be SMALLER than other tires in the same size? I believe I heard in the past that the Sumitomo's sidewalls were smaller than most tires. I am getting 245/40/17's. Same thing I had on my TT back in the day. I was thinking of getting tires with a little bigger sidewall but needed to know if they are smaller than other tires that are the same size. I currently have Yokohama AVS ES100's and am replacing them with a better wearing tire. If the Sumitomo's DO have a smaller sidewall that other brands.. then I may possibly just get 245/45/17's so that she has a little more protection for the wheels with a little better ride. If the Sumitomo's are smaller side wall'd. I can get the larger ratio for the wheels and still not look TOO big. The sidewalls of the yokohama 245/40/17's that are currently on the wheels are a little on the small side and I wouldn't really mind them being a *little* bigger, especially if the Sumitomo's are smaller than normal. NO, This picture is not photoshopped. It took many times to take this picture. Setting up the timer, shutter speed etc, then jumping on my bike and getting the tire to spin.
