Message Alright, so I'm already warning you this is going to sound
retarded, because I am completely lost on this matter, and
probably .... no ... definitely have no idea what I'm talking
about. So let's hope someone here speaks Retard.

And away we go....So I bout this dual intake system from
some guy on here like 2 years ago. It's been sitting in my
closet, waiting for me to finish the rebuild and drop in the
engine. That's finally done. I take the car to get custom
intercooler piping, and tell them to install the dual intakes.

Now, this is what I understood from the guy I bought it from. I
am supposed to disconnect the Y pipe that connects to the
MAF and the original intake. Then, I connect the two smalll U-
bend aluminum pipes to where the Y pipe was connected to.
Then, I connect one MAF to one of those pipes, and a dummy
MAF to the other, then the intakes underneath each of those.
(hopefully you're with me so far). Next, I have to tune the ECU
to read 2 times the amount its reading from the MAF, cuz
there's 2 intakes.

Yeah...sounds like a mission. So, the guy who did my piping
tells me that these wont fit and they're wrong blah blah blah.
Then he tells me that the Z isnt made to have a dual intake.
Then he says that if I even WANTED to put a dual intake, that
I need another small Y pipe to connect from the stock Y pipe
to the MAF, then the new Y pipe to the intakes.

So...to make a long story longer....can someone tell me WTF I
have to do to install these two intakes ? They look just like
the POP chargers. Probably not the same, probably suck, BUT,
I already have them so might as well install them. All I have
now is the stock Y pipe and my MAF.

Help !!

Thanks,

-The Retard
