Message	I used 10-40 10-30 15-40 5-30 0-30 All either amsoil redline mobile1. I have a digital pressure sensor in my vehicle so I was able to see how quickly I reached my pop off point of the factory oil pump and in every case besides 0-30 and 5-30 I was reaching that point in the 5-6k RPM range. My oil pressure at idle was lower with the 0-30 and 5-30 than that of 15-40 and 10-40. The car felt more sluggish with the heavier weights as well. I my car has a slightly modified oil pump but I would think that most of us can safely run 5-30W especially if a full synthetic I would not recommend a non-synthetic in the lower weights.
