As some of you guys know i wrote off my 1990 stage 2 n/a on sunday night. Now the Insurance Battle is waging ICBC is hiring a private investagator to try and prove I was frauding the corporation and they're going to give me $0 if this is the case. The problem is I was having trouble keeping up with bill payments so I had 2 options either sell the Z or give it to my mom as a gift where she would be the princible operator of the vechicle. I choose the second option as I love the Z and wanted to get it back from her when my job panned out into full time hours. ICBC is claiming that I had insurance on my ride from july'00-oct '00 and then only put it in my moms name macrh '01- june '01 for the reason of cheaper rates...this is such bullshit!, now they've hired a P.I to try and prove that my mom never drove it over 50% of the time and if they do this I'm fucked!...It's really close as my mom made sure she drove the car as much as possible to keep the insurance legal so if anything ever did happen it wold cover us in a time like this. Basically i'm facing loosing everything I've worked so hard to get over the past 2-3 years and I'm near my breaking point. I just don't know what to do....I'm meeting with a lawyer on tue, but I already signed a statement with icbc...I don't know what to do anymore...help!
