no duh, on the speculations. However, measuring torsional strain would actually be necessary to prove the hypothesis, because it is unknown how much the roofline would affect rigidity. I personally don't believe there is a noticeable difference.Simple shade tree test - when a jack stand is applied on any corner, the door on which the stand is applied becomes noticeable harder to open - but the T-Tops can be inserted and removed without issue. With regards to weight - you can run a track without the tops on, so there goes the weight issue (and actually sways it to the TTop model being lighter). with regards to looks - if there is any question as to why people like verts and Ttops, the persons asking it does not enjoy life the way it could be. :)
