Even though the word "bodykit" may not have been mentioned during these talks, the general concept of opinions and personal taste has been covered several times. Why does a person choose Greddy exhausts over HKS or Stillen or BB&B, etc? Why a Stillen intake over JWT, Apexi, Greddy HKS, etc? Why a Momo shift knob over OEM red stitched or Navan, etc? Chip vs no chip. Bigger rims vs stock, Racing Harts vs Enkei rims.... and blah blah blah... No matter what subject it is, the basic principle and philosophy is the same. What it all came down to was exactly what Lady300Z and numerous people who have blasted you recently for. Each person has a right to their own opinion and people have different opinions that you may not agree with. And the same goes with taste. If you have to money to do whatever you want to the car, then "do whatever floats your boat." People mod cars for themselves, not for the benefit of others. If you don't like it, then don't say anything or look at it... live your own life, plain and simple. But what I found disappointing and inappropriate was the fact that you picked a woman out of the several men with bodyits on the forum to blast. I can think of least 5 different people just off the top of my head that are more well known on the forum and have bodykits. Why not mention them? Granted she's the most recent one to post pics of her newly done bodykit, it's still no reason to single her (and 1pctmsg who helped her get her car done) in your complaint. And for you to tell anyone "...next time you wanna play dress up the car buy an integra please..." is just plain rude and disrespectful. TT.net is not for these kinds talk, we have tt.com for that. Sure, you don't like bodykits and I don't either but the people's car/s we're discussing here are not ours to criticize. They only wanted to share in the fun of modding their rides. Sure people comment of them , and I agree with you that the stock body already looks awesome, but did you really have to be that rude about it? I know Lady300Z personally and I've seen her car when it was stock and when it was modded. I don't always agree with her ideas and choices on the things that she does and sure I let her know what my opinion on the topic of discussion is, but I'm never rude or critical about it. Yeah she's a woman and you'll say she gets better treatment because she's just that. Well, I can tell you (and most of the guys that know me and her personally will back me up when I say this) that I don't treat her any differently than the rest of the guys and she doesn't get any better or special treatment any other Z-er, male or female. So you don't like it, big deal, it's not your ride, not your problem, live life. Subject is a dead horse like Steve (Dayton) stated above. Let it rest. End of story. There's not complicated about this and there's nothing more to discuss... it's a simple concept.
