Message 1. You can just spray PB blaster on it, or WD-40, and it won't rust.

2. Not sure if you can remove the heads without removing the cams. I think the bolts are below the cams. If you have questions just post them on here, but in the tech section when you get to these steps. People will help. If you are unsure, Ask. Otherwise money will likely be pouring out of your wallet unnecessarily.

3. You might not need to deck the block. You will need to get a straight edge and a feeler gauge to check of the block is warped. This is detailed in the FSM. Get one for your car, or reference the online version. It has the info step by step, and guides you on what and how to measure various parts. If you are unable to get a straight-edge or are questionable about these measurements, just take it to a machine shop. They will check it for you, probably for a minimal fee.

4. I don't know about this one, can't go wrong with OEM. Not familiar with the ARP kit.
