Although we all want to drive the Dragon, most of the driving I did last year was on other roads. The only pass we did was the Friday morning drop top cruise. Both the TSD and the Poker Run were awesome drives away from the Dragon itself. In the event that it were still closed, it wouldn't deter me from attending. There are plenty of other activities/events!
Years ago, I asked an old guy that was a Porsche guru if you could put a 914 motor in a bug. I have applied his response to many situations since then......"Son, you could put a winshield wiper on a billy goats ass, but I don't know why you would want to".
