| If you want to "just get it running" so you can resell it, a used engine is a good choice. It would be quick to do and likely work out well for the cost. If you plan to keep the car, I would suggest a longblock from Kyle @ IPP. One of Kyles engines would be a great place to start for any level of modding you plan to do and I doubt you can reassemble the current parts any more reliably than Kyle's offerings. I am sure you would not be able to pay a quality shop to put it back together cheaper. Lastly, if you are looking for a project, then take your time and rebuild it yourself. Just replace all the usual wear items like rings, bearings timing components etc...
