| ...Corpus Christi this morning. Went in to troubleshoot an overheating problem. Couldn't duplicate it, so assumed a slipping belt (at the time of the incident). Turns out, all belts were cracked and desperately needed replacing. Took the opportunity to do what they call a 150k checkup plus timing belt. Car has 156k miles on her now. Got all this done: Change oil/filter Change AT fluid change differential fluid Replace air/fuel filter Coolant flush/fill Replace all drive belts Replace timing belt Replace water pump Replace thermostat Replace cam seals Replace radiator cap Replace wiper blades EFI flush (check injector specs) New platinum plugs ...all for about $1200 - I know that I can do some of this stuff myself, but SINCE I'm establishing a baseline for maintenance, I decided to let the dealer do it the first time. Price out of line...? or about right?
