Federal just happens to be one of the largest and most experienced. I personally haven't had experience with Federal performance tires, but I do have second-hand experience with their light truck tires. I'll tell you what though, they get noisy (granted, they're mud tires, but noisier than other mud tires) after just 5000 miles. It's because they are a harder compound (for mileage) than other tires you'd normally want. Don't know how that will help, but take it fwiw.
